The era of mobile multimedia devices offers many opportunities for
innovative software applications. Today's mobile devices feature
relatively fast processors, location awareness, accelerometers,
high bandwidth two-way radio communication channels,
high-resolution cameras, microphones, touch sensitive displays and
increasingly robust and sophisticated software
infrastructures. We're just beginning to scratch the surface of
what can be done with them.
This course explores the application design space of Apple's
iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Students will complete a
semester long project of their choice.
