Full Time Job (Junior & Senior IT Consultant/Network Administrator)
SMR Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Technology Intern who can work on integration of our internal systems. This is a great learning opportunity, and will be very interesting. This individual may also be exposed and work along side a Senior IT Consultant on client based projects. Candidates must have a relevant technical background to be considered.
SMR Consulting, Inc. has a number of different Managed Services that need to be setup optimally, and integrated with each other. These different services are:
1. Email filtering using Postini
2. Firewall monitoring using SonicWALLs Global Management System
3. System/Network monitoring using Level Platforms Managed Workplace
4. Helpdesk/Trouble Ticket system using ConnectWise PSA (Professional Service Automation)
It is possible to connect these systems together. For example, if the System/Network monitoring system detects a fault, it can send a ticket automatically into the ConnectWise trouble ticket system. ConnectWise can collect statistics from the three other systems to help put together a canned, scheduled Executive Summary report.
